This site is dedicated to the memory of Shirley June Davis.
Shirley Davis was born in Ottery St Mary on June 19, 1936. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. She lived her life to the fullest and devoted it to supporting and helping others.
She was an incredible woman who has inspired future generations to love an accept anyone no matter who they are or what they have done. She provided true unconditional love to those around her. She was testiment to the idea that family is not limited to blood, but an expression of that love. She did not limit herself to socially traditional ideas of family, but opened up her heart and home to anyone in need of it. As a foster mother, she provided so much love, care and devotion to many disadvantaged children in need and loved each one equally regardless of background, ethnicity, ability or age.
You never gave up. The family you created will do you proud.
